Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and local requirements relating to beekeeping, animal welfare, biosecurity, food hygiene, and land access;
Ensure that children, pets, livestock, and bystanders are kept at a safe distance during service visits;
Use any advice, training, or mentoring responsibly and in accordance with reasonable beekeeping practice.

You acknowledge that bee-related activities involve natural risks, including but not limited to stings, allergic reactions, colony defensiveness, weather-related changes, equipment failure, and movement of live colonies. You are responsible for ensuring that anyone present at the site is informed of these risks.

If you or any person at the site has a known allergy to bee stings, you must inform us before services commence. We do not provide medical services and cannot guarantee the absence of stings or allergic reactions.

4. Payment terms and conditions

Fees for services will be as agreed between you and Honeypot Harvest Ltd, whether by quotation, invoice, booking confirmation, or otherwise in writing. All prices are subject to change until confirmed.

Invoices are payable by the due date stated on the invoice or booking confirmation.
We may require a deposit or full payment in advance for certain services, including colony sales, hive setup, specialist call-outs, and training bookings.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all fees are exclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes, duties, or charges.
Travel, equipment hire, consumables, emergency call-out charges, and additional labour may be charged separately where applicable.
If payment is overdue, we may suspend or refuse further services until all outstanding amounts are paid in full.

You are responsible for any bank charges, foreign exchange charges, card processing fees, or other payment-related costs imposed by your payment provider.

5. Cancellation and refund policy

Because our services often involve live colonies, seasonal conditions, and scheduled labour, cancellation terms may vary depending on the type of service booked. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following applies:

If you cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled service, we may refund any prepaid amount less reasonable administrative costs and any non-recoverable expenses already incurred.
If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled service, or fail to provide access, or are otherwise not ready for the appointment, the full fee or deposit may be retained.
Where services are postponed due to unsuitable weather, colony conditions, safety concerns, or other operational reasons, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule.
Refunds are not guaranteed for live bee products or colonies once delivered, transferred, installed, or accepted, except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.

For nucleus colonies, queen bees, and related live livestock, acceptance, integration, survival, and performance depend on environmental and management factors beyond our control. Any replacement, refund, or remedial action will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to proof of proper care and suitable conditions.

6. Liability limitations

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the foregoing, Honeypot Harvest Ltd shall not be liable for:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses;
Loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, crop yield, or anticipated honey production;
Loss or damage arising from inaccurate information provided by you;
Loss, death, or decline of bee colonies arising from environmental conditions, disease, pests, vandalism, adverse weather, or third-party acts or omissions;
Damage caused by pre-existing site defects, unsafe access, hidden hazards, or equipment not supplied by us;
Delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any service, claim, or series of related claims shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance for your property, premises, livestock, business activities, and any third-party risks associated with beekeeping or service attendance.

7. Intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights in our website, branding, service materials, training content, written guides, photographs, videos, designs, logos, and any other materials provided by Honeypot Harvest Ltd remain our property or the property of our licensors, as applicable.
